The 3.6 m–6.1 m diameter Element fan for commercial spaces has been developed by Big Ass Fans.
Element incorporates the core characteristics of industrial Big Ass Fans and refines them into a product that is matched to the needs of commercial spaces, such as restaurants.
Element is an energy efficient, silent air movement solution and produces less than 40 dBA at maximum operating speed. It has been designed specifically for large, air-conditioned spaces.
When Element is integrated with HVAC systems, the result is a more cost-effective method of cooling and better air circulation.
It can deliver a 10 per cent to 15 per cent reduction over stand-alone air-conditioning systems.
Due to its large volume of air movement, Element can also be used to distribute the air from the HVAC system year round. This significantly reduces the amount of ductwork required in buildings and lowers the overall energy consumption of HVAC systems.
Its patented anodised aluminum airfoil and winglet design is aerodynamically inspired and increases downward velocities to stabilise air movement.
